Frank H. Bombeeck, Director
Frank Bombeeck has built a distinguished career spanning over three decades in the commercial real estate sector, with a proven track record across international markets. He is the co-founder of Mercury Advisors LLC (established in 2003) and the founder of Burgland Investments LLC (launched in 2020), both of which reflect his deep expertise and entrepreneurial vision.
Bombeeck began his real estate journey in 1993 as an asset manager in The Hague, The Netherlands. In 1997, he relocated to Tampa, Florida, advancing to asset manager and director of investor relations for a prominent European investment firm. By the end of 2000, he was appointed CFO of Euro American Investors Group B.V., the parent company of Euro American Advisors Inc. and its affiliates. In that role, he earned approval from the Dutch Central Bank to join the board, overseeing financial operations across Germany, The Netherlands, and the United States.
During his tenure at Euro American, Bombeeck rose through key leadership roles in accounting, asset management, and investor relations. He was instrumental in the acquisition, management, and disposition of a $500 million portfolio comprising retail, office, condominium, and multi-family residential properties – ranging from existing assets to new developments.
In 2003, Bombeeck co-founded Mercury Advisors LLC with Ken Stoltenberg, spearheading transformative projects in downtown Tampa, Florida. Their portfolio included nearly 400 condominium units, retail space (notably anchored by Publix), offices, and multi-family apartments in towers rising up to 24 stories. Steering the firm through the challenges of the 2008 financial crisis and beyond, Bombeeck successfully navigated complex financial waters, ensuring the repayment of multiple loans and preserving the firm’s strong standing.
By 2017, he turned his focus to large-scale land development, initially involved in it since early 2008 as a silent investor, later establishing Burgland Investments LLC in 2020 to lead projects independently spanning everything from land assemblage to full-cycle development. His work has delivered numerous successful developments to national homebuilders—including among others Hartizen Homes, M/I Homes, DR Horton, and Kolter Land – primarily in Lake County and surrounding Florida communities as well as northwest Orlando.
Bombeeck holds a Master’s degree in Economics from the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam and is a Chartered Accountant (RA) in The Netherlands. He remains an active member of the Dutch Institute of Chartered Accountants (NBA).
